THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST AUDITIONS

Worthington Community Theatre proudly announces the auditions for Oscar Wilde’s widely popular play, The Importance of Being Earnest. Come and try out for a part in this play which takes place in 1895 London, England. Two bachelors, John “Jack” Worthing and Algernon “Algy” Moncrieff, create two alter egos. They attempt to woo two women who only like men named Ernest. The two bachelor’s alter egos provide conflict with their normal lives, and thus, causes lies and deception to tangle with their own story.

Your audition will consist of cold script reading.
